20.11.23 Creating Circles of Kindness
News from Advanced English 6
We’ve all been there: a “bad” day at school, an argument with a best friend or an assignment we forgot to turn in. And it all felt like no matter what we did, the world around us just was not making any sense, so why even try to make a difference… But then someone smiled at us for no reason, shared their “Brotzeit” or their last jelly bears with us, or simply found the time to listen to our worries. After all, it takes very little to make people and the space around us feel better.
And here is where our project comes in: At the beginning of November, Advanced English 6 created “Circles of Kindness” for their classroom!
What’s more, their ideas were great! From picking up rubbish in the classroom when no one else will, to spending more time laughing with your classmates, to holding the door open for the person behind you, these little “loops” of kindness put a smile on everyone’s face and sent a loud message – almost as loud and lively as the class – being kind to each other is actually pretty cool!
